M-CERT & OWN-CERT are back with a new report on the cyber events that marked 2023 and the major associated trends in the maritime sector.
In 2023, M-CERT recorded 612 cyber incidents for the maritime sector, investigated by our analysts.The report takes stock as follows: cybercriminal activity is maintaining its usual level; the threat level is mainly driven by the level of activity of hacktivist groups, which have particularly targeted port activities, especially in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
